FAQs

Is counselling for me?

Counselling is for anyone, at any time in their life. It is for anyone who feels they may benefit, or are looking for something to change. Men and women from all ages and backgrounds seek counselling for many different reasons.

You are the expert in your own life, but you may be seeking support. Talking about problems, frustrations, challenges etc. in a safe, confidential environment with a trained counsellor may enable you to find a way to move forward and to make change.

"I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become."  -  Carl Jung

What can counselling help with?

Counselling can support someone experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, loneliness, feeling confused or unhappy with relationships or struggling to cope with a recent life crises such as divorce or bereavement.

You may be looking to progress in your career, or be struggling with a breakup.

What can I expect from a session?

No two sessions are the same. Following our initial conversation, should you wish to continue, we will spend some time discussing what you wish to get from counselling and how we will work together. You will then continue to attend sessions for as long as it feels necessary.
